“Yeah, I’ll take the shot,” Ronaldo was heard saying in the background.
Football fans around the world were taken aback by a second to two-minute-long video posted on the Facebook page of Portuguese club Porto late last week, showing Cristiano Ronaldo making his comeback from an ankle injury by scoring a great goal.
The clip shows Ronaldo from behind laying on the ground, clearly visibly frustrated by his injury, before lifting his boot up to get the ball over the goal-line.
Ronaldo sustained the injury on Monday during a 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano.

Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas, a former national teammate of Ronaldo’s, can be heard on the video saying “you deserve this, man,” and later adding “you are showing people what you are, not that you are not.”
Ronaldo, who famously hails from the Portuguese city of Funchal, returned to the field on Saturday, scoring the decisive goal in the 2-1 victory over CSKA Moscow.
Madrid also posted a video, entitled “Cristiano in the stands,” on social media showing fans on the pitch reacting to the strike.
What will be his final moment as a one-club man?
Porto was set to play Barcelona on Sunday, while Ronaldo helped Real Madrid face Alaves.
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was disappointed with his team’s performance in the 2-0 defeat to Alaves, having seen his side win 10 out of 13 games prior to the weekend game.
